A new component of Bing Webmaster Tools will allow businesses to ensure that any code added to their websites can be accessed and crawled by Bing. Essentially serving as a preview of sorts, the Markup Validation Tool enables developers and marketers to be certain code will have its desired impact before launching it.

After entering the code onto the website, webmasters can run the Markup Validator. If there is a problem with the syntax, the Bing crawler will be unable to access and process it properly. Users will see an error message simply telling them to check their code again to ensure that it was implemented properly.

While content and social media marketing campaigns are among the most widely discussed component of SEO, a well made, easy-to-use website is a critical component of any web marketing strategy. Bing’s new tool will guide developers on the layout and look of their websites, ensuring the page operates properly with maximum search benefits.

This feature is going to help developers and businesses more than anyone, but Bing has been aggressive in targeting consumers and searchers in general this year. Brafton recently reported that the company is testing a series of toolbar designs at the bottom of its homepage in hopes of guiding users to popular, relevant content and attracting more users, overall.
